Life With Nick Podcast

In this podcast, I visit with a good friend of mine, Jaron Button. Jaron is currently pursuing his PhD in systematic theology @ Midwestern Seminary Spurgeon College in Kansas City.

Within the podcast, we discuss Jaron's introduction into fitness as a whole. We discuss his first bodybuilding competition and what that taught him and how it fueled his desire to continue into the sport of competitive bodybuilding.

We lightly touch on the differences in training for a marathon vs a bodybuilding competition and how he trained for his most recent bodybuilding competition while maintaining his work life and marriage.

More tactically, we cover how to develop the proper mindset for new fitness challenges, how goal setting can help you get back on track with your fitness journey, getting into and working through pain, and the power of starting.

Last, we discover how posing can be the difference maker when competing and why it is so important to be present while you are training.

Enjoy!
